In my opinion true Americans should have to give up some of their personal freedoms. I think they should because when your men are off fighting during war they are giving up all of their personal time to fight to keep our freedoms. So I think that people giving up some of their personal freedoms, such as giving up getting gas as frequently, isn't as bad as giving up them all to go across the ocean to serve for their country. They work and have to go through miserable foreign conditions like sleeping in trenches and standing in mud all day. Giving up freedoms like women working at jobs in place of men is a much easier job.
That true fact Annie and i agree full heartedly.
ReplyDeleteI agree that freedoms like not getting gas as frequenly, but the Sedition Act, that took away the right to speak negative about the war, should never have been created.
ReplyDeleteI agree with miguel but I also think that americans should not be forced into war. The american people should have the choice whether or not they want to go to war.
